TYPES OF INSULATION:

There are two commonly used types of Spray Foam insulation, each with their own benefits.

Open Cell / half-pound

is sprayed into tight spaces as its expansion characteristics have superior sound proofing attributes and is cost effective.

Two-pound / closed cell spray foam

has a higher R-value per depth inch and can provide a vapor barrier with appropriate depth.

Common Uses:

Exterior walls for best thermal insulating

Joist spaces and cantilevers for a proper air seal in tight spaces
