The standard ceiling for most builders. Provides visual interest and texture while also not requiring a perfect surface to be applied to.
This finish was the most used surface treatment in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s as it was extremely forgiving from a surface condition perspective and did provide some sound proofing.
Almost in between knock down and popcorn from an esthetic perspective, Splatter textured ceilings look to resemble an orange peel, or eggshell.
These ceilings are the gold standard with regards to craftsmanship. The finish is extremely smooth, blemish free and is designed to painted to achieve a refined high end look.
